Santos are a club from the seaport of Santos in Sao Paolo. The club is inextricably linked with Pele, generally regarded as the world's greatest ever footballer. Founded in 1912, the club play at the Estadio Vila Belmiro. They play in their famous all white strip. During the golden years of the 1960s, the club won two Intercontinental Cups, eight state championships and six national championships. The club were national champions again in 2002 and 2004.
