American Football Team Kits

Major League Soccer was formed in 1993. It comprises of sixteen teams; fifteen from the USA and the remaining team from Canada. The MLS season runs from April to November, and the MLS is split into two sections, the East and West Divisions. Teams play each other at home and away, and the top four teams from each division meet in a play-off from November.

As you might expect, Chicago Fire play in red, although with a white band around the middle. The left sleeve of the shirt is white. The kit is completed with red socks and shorts. Club Deportiva Chivas have a strong Latino base, and have Mexican owners. They play in red, white and blue. Formed in 1996, the Colorado Rapids represent the town of Denver. The team plays in blue and black stripes, with black shorts and socks. They were a finalist in the 1999 US Open Cup. The Columbus Crew play their football in Columbus, Ohio and were formed in1994. Columbus play their games in gold shirts with a black trim, and black shorts and socks. Brad Friedel is one of their famous ex-players. DC United play their games in Washington in the Bobby Kennedy Memorial Stadium. They were one of the founding members of Major League Soccer. They play in a black shirt with a white stripe across the chest and black shorts and socks. The team have won the MLS Cup no less than four times. Based in Frisco, Texas, FC Dallas play in white shirts with horizontal red stripes with blue flashes, with red shirts and socks. Houston dynamo play in orange shirts and, despite only being formed in 2005, won the MLS Cup in 2006. The Kansas City Wizards play in blue shirts with a white strip over the shoulder and sleeves, with white shorts and socks. David Beckham's club, LA Galaxy, play in gold with a green diagonal stripe with green shorts and gold socks. Finally, the Vancouver White Caps play in white and blue and currently play their home games in Burnaby, British Columbia.
